7(with English text)

How to draw hair

It is easier to draw hair if it is divided into parts.
There are four parts: the front, left and right, and back.

If the hair line is color-coded at the rough sketch stage, it will be easier to understand when putting in the pen.
However, this is easy to do digitally. In analog, the only way to separate parts is to use blocks.

You need to know how to do this yourself, so it's a good idea to use a fine eraser to clean up the lines after you finish drawing the hair line.

If it is a silhouette problem, you can start drawing the hair after capturing the shape firmly first.

It is sometimes easier to draw a head with a pigtail in this way.
The silhouette of the hair is such an important part of the picture that it can affect the impression of the picture, so if you are drawing digitally, you may want to take the shape of the hair many times to find the right fit.
If you're using analog, just take a thin layer of the hair and see what you come up with!

Also, keep in mind that hair is a complete [collection of curves], so it's easier to work with!

Even if the hair has a core inside rather than a straight line, it is soft and will always tuck in toward the ends.
So you may need to practice curves to some extent....

If you learn to draw curves while wrinkling clothes, you can make use of them when drawing hair, so please do so.
It is easy to practice, just draw squishy lines.
In fact, some people find this squishiness difficult, and that is because they tend to draw stiff lines.
If you feel that outlines and hair are too hard, just learning how to draw curved lines (soft lines) will improve your level... I think.

How to draw eyes

I refer to doll eye parts the most when drawing eyes.
I'm not very good at it, but I often stare at pictures of just the lens of the eyes really.
Drawing eyes is a very personal thing, but it is the result of reflecting what I like.

Whether to draw them cartoonishly or realistically is the person's preference... so this is just a rough making of how I draw them in my case

In analog, lines are often jagged to represent eyes.

In the case of digital, I like jewel-like texture, so I tend to make it sparkle.
I know it's rough, but it'll look something like this!

Sorry if it's not clear.
Thanks for asking the question.
